A Simplified Hybrid OPF/Cloud Approach

Pillar # 1 – Cloud Storage Partner – We have partnered with Seagate Lyve who has a long history in the data storage market and holds a significant market share (50%+) within the hard drive storage industry including the drives used in AWS Data Centers. Seagate has identified the Systems Integration market and more specifically Video Surveillance as an emerging market for Cloud Storage and selected Cloud Collect as their Aggregator to serve the industry.
Pillar # 2 – Leverage Legacy Deployed Hardware – Cloud Collect Bridge – Allows Integrators and End-Users to gradually migrate to Cloud Storage while at the same time leveraging legacy hardware (without rip & replacing or installing proprietary on-premise devices) with Tiger Technology. We use Tiger Surveillance Bridge which is essentially a Windows File Drive that gets uploaded into many Windows Based VMS/NVR platforms which once configured sends select content directly to Seagate Lyve. Cloud Collect Bridge is configured locally on the NVR based on the requirements or needs of the End-User and how they want to migrate to Cloud storage.
Pillar # 3 – Leverage the “Intelligence” on the Edge – Cloud Collect Edge – Today’s IP Cameras are essentially minicomputers with all types of local analytics etc. embedded into the device along with local storage via SD Card Slot(s). For this application we offer an App that is quickly and easily installed in the Camera and or a local Gateway that is then managed via our browser-based Camera Management System (Virtual VMS). The Camera is configured to send content based on those local analytics to the Cloud/Seagate Lyve. Cloud Collect Edge can also be embedded on a small form factor Gateway or even a 5G Cellular Gateway and transmit Video from anywhere with merely minimal AC or Solar Power.
Pillar # 4 – Cloud Billing Management and Usage Monitoring – Cloud Collect REV – An invaluable aspect of our offering is our backend usage monitoring, billing, and management platform. In the case of the Cloud Storage, it is sold on a per TB or lesser amount and as such there must be a mechanism to monitor the usage by account to ensure more data is not being stored than is being purchased. In addition, many competitors charge ingest (upload) and egress (download) fees associated with the cost of storage making it difficult to predict your total monthly costs. This is a very cost prohibitive model for Video Surveillance as content is constantly being uploaded and downloaded which with those platforms makes it almost impossible to quote a cost to an end-user on a monthly basis. Our pricing model for Cloud Collect Bridge is based on a fixed monthly price per TB of Storage without any ingest or egress fees which greatly simplifies the Integrators ability to quote and sell Cloud Storage and the End-Users ability to budget for Cloud Storage. Our pricing model for Cloud Collect Edge is based on a fixed per Camera per month which once again greatly simplifies the process and ability for an Integrator to sell and quote Cloud Storage.
