The concept of color
A kind of visual psychological feeling caused by light reflected from objects to human eyes. According to the literal meaning, color can be divided into color and color. The so-called color refers to the feeling of light entering the eyes and transmitting to the brain; color refers to multi-color, which means people's understanding of light changes.
1) Common color terms
Three primary colors
The most basic colors in painting are red, yellow and blue, which are called primary colors. These three primary colors are pure, bright and strong, and these three primary colors can't be adjusted, but they can be mixed into a variety of hues.
Intermediate color
There are two primary colors mixed to get color, such as yellow blue green, blue red purple.
Polychrome
The color obtained by mixing two intermediate colors (such as orange and green, green and purple) or one primary color with corresponding intermediate colors (such as red and green, yellow and purple). The composite color contains three primary colors, and becomes a gray color with low color purity
2) Other color terms
Contrast color
Any of three colors in the hue ring that are 120 to 150 degrees apart.
Same color
A series of colors with different tendencies in the same color phase is called the same color. For example, yellow can be divided into lemon yellow, medium yellow, orange yellow, earth yellow, etc., which are all called the same color.
Complementary color
The colors 180 degrees apart in the hue ring are called complementary colors. For example: red and green, blue and orange, yellow and purple complement each other. When complementary colors are subtracted (for example, two complementary colors are painted on the same point of white paper in color matching practice), it becomes black; when complementary colors are juxtaposed, it will cause strong contrast color sense, and it will feel that red is redder and green is greener. If the saturation of complementary colors is weakened, it will tend to be harmonious.
