Scientists citizens is a local project of science, technology and education, developed by the SIATA and funded by the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley.
The first version of the project is in force since December 2015, when some citizens of Greater agreed to have in their homes or workplaces a "cloud", which is a sensor inexpensive for measuring air quality, which allows to obtain data points, the minute, temperature, humidity and PM2.5.
Having a network of this nature has enriched research to support decisions of citizens and local authorities; It has also raised awareness of people about their role in contributing to the care and improvement of air quality in the region.
