Abbas Mahmoud Al-Akkad

Many historians have taken care of translating the biography of the great companion “Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq” and there is no longer much to be said about it. Al-Akkad realized this matter, so his book on Al-Siddiq was different. He presented an analytical psychological study of the personality of Al-Siddiq to get to know his personal characteristics and traits and elicit the motives for his behavior. Al-Akkad markets historical news and incidents, not to present them themselves, but to put his hand on the keys to the personality of the first caliph through his dealings with events and his dealings with people. He also approaches his environment, his life before and after Islam, and the circumstances of his conversion to Islam. Then, he compares him with "Omar Ibn Al-Khattab" to show the differences between their personalities and temperaments. He also presents aspects of his management of the affairs of the caliphate in the nascent Islamic state and how he behaved towards the crises that almost afflicted it.
