The App will be the backbone of the entire project, on the one hand, it includes all the contents and makes them accessible to future visitors and extends the information to tourists who are in the Torre de Higuera de Calatrava. On the other hand, it is the activator of all the virtual experiences (an augmented reality, a 360º experience, and an interactive 3D model) that complete each of the tower's panels and rooms.
The mix of the digital with the physical (the tower itself, the project panels) allows for an easier and at the same time interesting understanding of the history of the place, of the late medieval period and of the women and men (Isabel de Solís, el commander , the Order of Calatrava) who carried it out, as well as the town of Higuera de Calatrava in General.
The App is translated into three languages apart from Spanish, English, Italian and French.
3D visualization
The tower of Higuera de Calatrava and a hypothetical interpretation of its castle in 3D with different interactive points are shown; with which extra information is accessed through an on-screen panel.
360 experience
A 360º experience is actually a virtual reality experience, but without the glasses and all the equipment they need. In the 360º experience, a render is displayed that recreates the upper room through which we can move (turning the camera and turning the environment), clicking on information points that will open new panels
Augmented reality
Isabel's 3D character explaining her own story. Thus, Isabel de Solís will expand the story exposed both in the panels and in the videos.
By scanning the ground surfaces we will place said character on the real ground that will narrate the story.
Information panels
There are three information panels that expand the information on the medieval town of Higuera de Calatrava, on the castle's armory and on the towers of the territory of the Encomiendo de Martos.
audiovisual
Three videos about Higuera de Calatrava in the Middle Ages, about the Order of Calatrava and the territory of the Encomienda de Martos and about the character of Isabel de Solís and her history can be viewed from the APP.
