Have you ever thought about painting, for example, original Italian majolica? Now's your chance! Thanks to the "Colorize the Monument" application and dedicated coloring pages, available for download on our website, you can completely change the colors of monuments without damaging the valuable originals.
Color the coloring page as you wish, download the application and then point the camera of your mobile device with the application open at it and that's it - you can admire the monument you have colored in 3D.
Of course, you can also check what its original colors look like by looking at its digital image obtained thanks to digitization carried out by the Regional Digitization Studio of the Światowid European Meetings Center in Elbląg. While working on a new version of the monument, you can also listen to the audio description prepared for it.
Currently, we provide 2 digitized monuments for coloring - Albarello - a majolica apothecary vessel with colorful decoration and an imaginary portrait of the great astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus.
The application was created as part of the project entitled “Continuum. Digital Collections of Warmia and Mazury" co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund, obtained from subsidies established in games covered by the state monopoly, in accordance with Art. 80 section 1 of the Act of November 19, 2009 on gambling and co-financed by the Local Government of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
