Give your child a safe path into the world of letters. All templates for learning to write are curriculum-based. An introductory story, three fonts, over 32 handcrafted illustrations, and more than 186 items to track down. No subscription, no advertising, no tracking!
In the app, your child will find swing exercises, letters (the whole ABC), numbers and words. All content is free to follow with your finger or pen. Your child takes on the role of the lion child Lu, who wants to get to know the wonderful world of writing. It meets all kinds of animals and thus learns the ABC. The story is told through hand-made illustrations.
By writing quickly, there is more time to think in exams and thoughts do not escape before you write. Those who write faster have a clear advantage.
Contents:
• 6 alphabets for descendants: uppercase and lowercase letters of the block letters, the basic font and the simplified original font (a cursive version). Contained in every ABC: "ä", "ö", "ü", "ch", "sch", with the lower case letters the "ß".
• The numbers from 0 to 9.
• 12 swing exercises to introduce you to the usual formal elements of the scriptures.
• 45 animal names to trace - 15 per font.
More details:
• Phonetic pronunciation of the letters (“ts” for zebra).
• Swing exercises to introduce you to the hand movements that are necessary for writing.
• No subscription, no in-app purchases, no advertising, no tracking. Buy once, always own.
• Concept, drawings and dubbing from Germany. The app is registered as a trade in Germany.
Recommendations:
• The game is particularly suitable for a tablet with a pen. It is helpful to use a pen to learn the three-finger grip.
Imagination and motivators:
Animated selection menus support the open story. Your child can continue dreaming the adventures of the lion child Lu while learning to write. There are different pen colors to choose from, highlighted with your own tones - a hidden mini-game. Depending on the speed, there are up to three pineapples to be won. Coins and leaderboards were deliberately avoided in order to offer motivation appropriate to the age and not to promote gambling-like profit conditioning.
FAQ:
Is the "simplified starting script" the right script for my child?
Which cursive script your child learns depends on your state and ultimately on the elementary school they are attending. The cursive font used in the app is the "simplified initial font", which is currently available as at least one possible cursive font in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt.
What is the "basic font"?
In Hamburg, for example, instead of cursive, children learn the basic font, a printed font with swings that is recommended by the primary school association as both a development and starting font (for more information see primary school association). The acquisition of one's own handwriting should be simplified.
Now which is the right font for my child?
If in doubt, please ask your child's primary school teacher. Since the basic font is a variant of the block letters recommended by the elementary school association, it can be understood as a useful addition to learning the block letters - here too, please discuss this with your own elementary school teacher.
