Dr. Paedi is an app for helping new Doctors and medical students for better understanding of pediatric treatment. This is your assistant in Pediatric Department where it helps you by calculating every dose that is perfect against the age or weight of the patient
- How to use it?
after installing click on the app icon from the App drawer, wait a sec to reload the app
you will directed to the main menu where you will get

-then tap any menu what ever you want. in treatment protocol you will get a list of diseases, select any one and you will get a treatment guideline but for the calculation of doses you have to go to Drug doses section
-In Fluid calculation tab you will get fluid amount, Blood Transfusion and NG tube feeding tab, where you just need to input the age and weight, then press calculate to get the desired amount
-In Drug doses section you will get all drugs list that are required for pediatric treatment. scroll through the section or type the desired drug name in the search box you will get that one (the search works for both generic and trade name). just enter the weight and write the comment in your treatment sheet, the work will be done
in case of Azithromycin you need to select either it is for GIT or other site infection.
-Advice on discharge: this section contains a list of advice that we have to write in the discharge paper. the whole discharge is written in Bangla so you can just copy this to your discharge paper and it will be enough.
-Emergency MX: this tab will guide you to manage emergency patients in Pediatric department
Converter: this converter is for converting height to many variables
Measurement: this tab contains, Z-score, Apgar score, BMI and Body surface area calculations, no need to panic about this complicated calculations, just give the weight, age and other information and this app will do all for you
-This is just a test version and we trying to develop this app day by day. It will be great if you just give us feedback about it where we should add a new feature or correct the fault. Hope that you will enjoy the app
NB: this app will be locked so that non-medical persons cant be able to use it, for the activation code sent your medical information(medical certificate, Prof result etc) to electronicbrainapp@gmail.com
