We are a national audiovisual archive. We preserve and preserve not only our film heritage, but our collective and historical memory.
In the cinema, one hundred years of images of our country have been recorded in news, documentaries, institutional and home movies, short films and fiction films. The Foundation has earned the trust of numerous donors and depositors. Thanks to them, the collection already has more than 200,000 film, video and other media units, as well as photographs, posters, museum elements and numerous documents.
Among the users of the service of conservation and administration of collections are in the official sector, the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of Culture, National Television Radio of Colombia, RTVC, Idartes-Cinemateca District and private sector Proimagen Colombia, Caracol TV , Cinemateca del Caribe, among others and most of the national producers and filmmakers.
