About Remedies For Piles during Preg

Almost have of women develop piles during their pregnancy normally in the later months. This condition sometimes known as hemorrhoids can become just yet another burden during pregnancy as it's just more pain caused to the body while you want to rest and be seated.

Why are piles during pregnancy so much more common?

First of all any increase in mass causes a higher chance of developing piles. The extra weight that is carried around during pregnancy puts more strain on your rectal region especially while passing stool which is a common way you can develop this condition.

Secondly, when pregnant women produce more progesterone which is the other female hormone. This can be at levels as high as ten times as normal when not pregnant. What progesterone does to the body is slows the flow of blood. What this does is makes it easier for the baby to get more nutrients extracted helping the baby become healthier.

This slow blood flow causes more water to be leached from the body. A lack of water then causes constipation which then leads to a piles issue. There is nothing you can do about the progesterone increase as it's good for the health of the baby but taking in more fluids than normal should be considered to counter the fluid issue.

Fortunately, piles by themselves aren't going to cause the baby any harm. But it should be noted that any time you have an open wound or bleeding that the area should be properly cleaned and sanitized as an infection can cause harm to the baby. If you develop piles, keep them clean during the day. A shower, bath, or bidet is best but a sanitary wipe will make due as well.
