ARDirgantara is a technology application based on Visual Reality, a combination of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in a program package with the theme of history and aerospace interests sourced from the Air Force Dirgantara Mandala Central Museum. Inside ARDirgantara there are Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies that contain 3D images, video clips, sound, and 360-degree text and images. ARDirgantara was made based on the results of research and development by Ardian Infantono, S.Kom., M.Eng. (Air Force Academy) and Andria Wahyudi, S.Kom., M.Eng., ACA (Klabat University) which was conducted with the team, with guest speakers as the Head of the Air Force Central Museum Dirgantara Mandala and the museum curator team. The historical stories in ARDirgantara were adopted based on the historical book "Heaven Without Borders" by Drs. Dede Nasrudin.
ARDirgantara was made as a technological innovation to increase the love of the motherland, the spirit of self-sacrifice, and state defense for all Indonesian people in a real and sustainable way through appreciation of the history and important role of the Indonesian Air Force from the independence era to efforts to maintain the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia up to this time. ARDirgantara is also intended to foster interest in the aerospace world.
On the Augmented Reality side, ARDirgantara can be used on all markers or symbols contained in the ARDirgantara Collection Book, AR Tickets for the Dirgantara Museum entrance, markers in the Air Force Museum Museum Dirgantara Mandala Yogyakarta, and other publications contained in the QR Code to download the ARDirgantara application or Google Play symbol.
On the Virtual Reality side, ARDirgantara can be used to catch a glimpse of the Dirgantara Mandala Museum through 360 image display.
