There are seven Friday practices that are highly recommended. This is because Friday has a number of features. Thus narrated Al-Imam al-Syafi'i and al-Imam Ahmad from Sa'ad bin 'Ubadah in a hadith.
The Prophet's Hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah mentions the special features on Friday. "The best day on which day the sun rises is Friday. On that day Adam was created. On that day he was put into heaven and on that day he was expelled from heaven and there will be no doomsday except on Friday." (HR. Muslim and Tirmidhi).
