“AR Russian Mining History” is a mobile application with augmented reality technology, which is a three-dimensional reconstruction-visualization of a blast furnace, hammer and forge factories, recreated by modeling tools based on illustrations to Wilhelm de Gennin's manuscript “Description of the Ural and Siberian factories”.
How to use:
In the menu, select the "Augmented reality" section, then one of three pictures: "Blast-furnace factory", "Hammer factory" or "Blacksmith factory". Point the camera of your device at the corresponding illustration.
View functionality:
1. The audio guide plays automatically. Pressing the "Audio guide" button will turn it off, pressing it again will turn it on.
2. Buttons "1", "2" or "3" allow you to switch between enlarged fragments of the factory model.
3. By default, the application recognizes a horizontal image. If you have a sheet with an illustration located in a vertical plane (hanging on the wall or held by weight), you need to change the location of the factory model in space using the "Vertical / Horizontal" button.
