This book is part - a summary - of several dissertations in the field of Islamic Educational Psychology (PPI) written at the UMY Doctoral Program. As of April 2020, the UMY PPI Doctoral Program has produced 91 Doctors in the PPI field. There have been many dissertation research themes written by PPI students, both those who were studying at their own expense, or through the Ministry of Religion 5000 Doctoral scholarship program. It would be great if all the dissertation results were published in domestic and foreign journals. Even more so when it is published in the form of a dissertation summary like in this book. In the future, it will be even better if all dissertations are published in the form of a complete written dissertation in book form.
So far, many research themes have been written which, if classified, are as follows:
First, related to psychological themes in the form of behavior, including on the topics: Models of premarital teenage bride education; Premarital sexual relations with female TKI students; Juvenile delinquency behavior; Academic fraud and student learning motivation.
Second, the theme of teaching methods, including topics: Psychology and Arabic language teaching methodology; Fun cards as learning media; Quantum learning models.
Third, related to the study of texts, such as: Tunjuk Ajar Melayu spiritual counseling; The character education value of Serat Sasana Sunu. Fourth, on the theme of education, intelligence and character, including topics: Multiple intelligence; Character education at the Pabelan boarding school, boarding school, special school and SDIT; Minority Muslim Family Education; Education among the poor; Parents' parenting style of achievers; Character education in AIK; Hajj repeatedly and emotional maturity; Parenting, and others.
Fourth, the themes related to leadership and community are about: Principal leadership and teacher professionalism; career Muslim women; street vendor psychology; State apparatus anxiety (bureaucratic anxiety); Pangestu Muslim Cohesiveness; lecturer EQ and SQ; Education of children in contemporary Muslim families; Kyai's upbringing and the independence of the santri; Entrepreneurship education model; Retirement psychology; The Upload Base and Pseudo Base Leadership Models. There are still several other dissertation topics that have not been written in this introduction.
