JobSteps

APPsolutely competent: ready for the EU labour market is an Erasmus Plus
project that involves four different vocational colleges from four different european countries:

● Mercantec/TVC, Viborg, Denmark;
● SEDU, Senajoki, Finland;
● Georg-Simon-Ohm Berufskolleg, Cologne, Germany;
● AFP Patronato San Vincenzo, Bergamo, Italy.

The aim of the project was to research, to explore, to discuss and address the core issues
that impact young people accessing the European labor market.

The project involved at least 20 students, in each of the 4 participating schools, working on
school based activities, during the two years of the project. All activities produced
sustainable outcomes that have been used to create an app. This app, named “JobSteps”, is
an App that will help teachers and students to teach and learn more about:

● know yourself and your competences better;
● find and read knowingly a job offer;
● write a good cv and a good cover letter;
● face with the right attitude a job interview, even in a foreign country.
