Find your place in the world and connect more closely to the Earth and explore maritime navigation, trade and exploration world routes through Earth Viewer in both VR and 2D mode. Working closely with The Museum’s Cartographer, the app places the user inside a spherical projection of planet Earth, seeing it from inside out, giving a unique visual experience of the Earth without distortion in “one go”.
To get the most out of Earth Viewer, use a VR headset, however, you can also use it without one.
Tips for best experience:
Get yourself a VR headset, such as the Google Cardboard.
Set your phone’s brightness to maximum for the best VR experience.
Ensure your phone is perfectly aligned in the VR headset - even a slight misalignment may impair image quality.
