LLB Austria PhotoTAN is an innovative security procedure for logging into the portfolio analysis of the Liechtensteinische Landesbank (Österreich) AG (hereinafter referred to as "LLB Austria"). The LLB Austria PhotoTAN app must be activated before first use. For this activation you need a personal activation letter, which you automatically receive from the LLB Austria.
Using the PhotoTAN method, the login data of the LLB portfolio analysis is encrypted in a colored mosaic. This mosaic is photographed with the camera integrated in your mobile device (smartphone or tablet). The data contained in the mosaic and the corresponding release code are then decrypted and displayed on your mobile device by the LLB Austria PhotoTAN app. Activation ensures that the mosaic can only be decoded by your personal mobile device.
For the PhotoTAN process, your mobile device does not need an internet connection.
