The main purpose of this augmented reality mobile application is to guide users along 2 thematic routes in nature, in Prahova County - Lapos Route and Apostolache Route - and to present in real time a series of phenomena. / processes / species / habitats that users can observe on these 2 routes. The augmented reality application “RACUN” was made in the years 2020-2021, within the project “Augmented Reality for the Knowledge of Nature”, financed within the program Fondul Stiintescu - Prahova, 2nd Edition, for the Gymnasium School from Lapos.
The augmented reality application works like this: you have to activate your location before entering one of the thematic routes. Then select the route (depending on where you are - Lapos or Apostolache). Then you adjust your application from the settings so that it corresponds to your needs. The route will be shown by arrows placed on the screen in augmented reality system. When you reach a point of interest on the route (natural goal of fixing knowledge), you will identify a hair with a QR code at the top. Scan the QR code and an explanation sheet will open by the application. The sheet will describe to you what a natural objective you have in front of you, it will explain it to you in its meaning, it will teach you to observe it with an "expert" eye. Each thematic route (1-Lapos or 2-Apostolache) has 12 points of interest or natural objectives for fixing knowledge, which synthetically describe natural realities in the field of natural sciences: physics, chemistry, biology, ecology.
