During 1830, in France, the opponents of the government of Felipe 1 ° decided to use as a way of protest to generate annoying noises. In 1832 this movement became popular using pots, pans and other cooking instruments as the main instrument.

Today this movement is still used and is the main form of demonstration of the town along with the marches.
