To respond to the contradictions of existential philosophy
In the first part of the book, he talked about the outlines of existentialism
Belief in existence before what is
And that man is nothing but the outcome of his work
It is the person's job that determines what he or she is
It also determines the existence of others
As well as his choices that will shape his presence and the presence of those around him
He cited the example of the young man who sought advice in his case
This is the example he used in every line he wrote
Which hinted Naville to the frequent use of Sartre to him
In fact, it is not the only thing Sartre has been repeating
Because he is so small in his speech, he keeps repeating three things more frequently
1- Presence before nature
2- Work is existence
3- Existentialism is a human doctrine
And the last one is honestly I did not understand it, try to explain it, but I felt lost
Sartre here was a weak-argued, troubled man
His speech begins with such an attack on existentialism, and some critics say existentialism etc.
Perhaps a lot of criticism around him and his attempt to respond to it injected him into a turbulent charged atmosphere
Contributed to the absence of his argument
This is what it would seem to me to be correct
When I read one of his other works
The second part of the book is a dialogue between him and the Marxist Naville
The latter criticizes, and Sartre responds
Although Marxism is also a philosophy with its mistakes
Some face a lot and a lot of criticism
Perhaps Navel's position and reactions felt more powerful and convincing than Sartre
A philosophical doctrine says that the existence of a person is earlier than what it is, because your nature and personality are formed during your life, and I cannot judge you before your personality is, you enter in many situations, and you have in every situation a different position! Therefore, you are formed every day due to the experiences that you gain in your life, and I cannot judge you because that limits your freedom. I mean, if someone is evil or has bad manners, and has a son, I cannot foretell that this boy will have morals before he is formed, and I cannot say that he will surely be as bad as his father! This is not my right
