A project that results from the concern of the Municipality of Tondela, in a year in which it is not possible to organize FICTON (Industrial and Commercial Fair of Tondela) in the usual way, start a process that represents a local development aspect, exploring the capacity for renewal of the urban space of the city and artistically boosting ACERT, as a local artistic structure that has obtained great public recognition for the construction of scenic devices of great dimension for its street theater shows.
CONCEPTS
IDENTITY
• The city starts to be distinguished in the country with urban sculptures (different from murals) that also architecturally value public spaces, conviviality and housing.
THE TERRITORY
• Sculptural badges that symbolically mirror the industrial fabric, references belonging to the territory and the community, citizenship, economy, culture, employment, innovation.
TOURIST ATTRACTION AND HOUSERS 'REGOZIJO
• The city gains a tourist dimension recognized by the pioneering spirit of generating sculptural interventions that are points of attraction for visitors and pleasure and delight for the inhabitants, creating a tourist-artistic itinerary that will obtain a singular certification in the panorama of the national plastic and sculptural intervention.
This project may, in the near future and conclude that the first stages with the desired success are concluded, attract sponsoring companies that will “sponsor” new continuity projects.
THE ARTISTIC MATRIX
• The city associates creative differentiation because it has a theater company (Trigo Limpo teatro ACERT) that has already imposed its theatrical work on the grandiose of scenic devices and that, in this way, would become the theater, while the art of ephemeral, on a perennial public stage.
YOUNG PEOPLE, CONTEMPORANITY
• The city becomes a point of interest for young people by associating contemporary virtual media (APP) that are easily usable by the functions of mobile devices with data.
N NARATIVES WITH ROUTE
• The city acquires an identity motive that is not confined to the construction of a monument, but to a narrative mapped through paths.
CONTINUOUS BEAUTY
• The city that bears marks in areas that beautify it, make it attractive and that constitute identity traits that expand and last in time with modernity.
A ROUTE WITH STORIES
• Sculptural interventions that, from the South Entrance Slope (1), through the North Entrance Grass Area (2) and through points of the city (3), joining areas of great visual impact to signs in the urban fabric.
• For those who pass, enter or leave the city, these creatively distinct elements are harmonized by the technique used and with the integration of 3 human figures who act in it in a different way.
• Interventions in the inner part of the city, preferably in those that are most lacking in social life, where interventions may, among many other alternatives, generate interest for visits.
• The use of the APP (usable by the functions of mobile devices with data) allows it to be a type of personal tool that, when pointed at each of the sculptures, can also make it possible to envision a dramatization with the interpretation of actors from the ACERT Company in the humanized narrative exhibition linked to the imagery of each zone / building / character that guided the sculpture thematically and metaphorically.
