About EMF Meter
Electromagnetic Field (EMF) Meter.
** This is a legacy app, it may not work on newer versions of Android **
Using the Magnetometer that is built into your device we can measure EMF more accurately than a K2 meter!
You can view the Magnitude of the Magnetometer, view the RAW values from the X, Y and Z axis, along with a graphical display of the X, Y and Z axis.
By performing some calculations we can work out how much EMF is already in the environment around the device and use that as a base to work from.
The "Range" is the total amount of Microtesla (µT) that the Magnetometer can measure on your phone / tablet. The Magnetometer is 3 axis, which means it can measure the magnetic force in 3 dimensions, in positive and negative values.
To put this into perspective, a K2 meter only measures on 1 axis and ranges from 0 up to around 3 Microtesla (µT).
The "Resolution" is the value of the smallest change the Magnetometer can detect.
On the left are the RAW Magnitude, X, Y and Z values from the Magnetometer.
On the right are the values of the Magnitude, X, Y and Z after removing the noise and environmental EMF.
