MARSEILLE INFO ODOR is an application developed by the Sanitation Service Marseille Métropole (SERAMM) as part of its public service delegation contract with Marseille Provence Métropole (MPM), which provides:
- To report an odor problem in the towns of Marseille, Allauch, Septèmes-les-Vallons, Le Rove, Gémenos Carnoux and Industrial Zone, locating and characterizing the specific (type of odor, duration, durability, intensity),
- Know the other alerts entered in the application during the past year since you can visualize on a map all the events on the pre-mentioned common and have access to certain features (date and time of the alert and type 'smell).
Info Smells Marseille is powered exclusively by the reports made by users of the application. The reports, updated in real time on the map, are transferred to SERAMM to be treated promptly.
SERAMM and MPM have chosen to develop a simple and intuitive application to allow everyone to express themselves so very easy but also to locate the best source of the smell to improve the conditions for intervention and treatment .
Marseille Info Smells therefore a citizen application that allows all users to be an actor of local life by participating in the life of the sanitation service by voluntary contributions that will come in support of the efforts already made by SERAMM and MPM regarding detection and treatment of olfactory pollution and so help improve air quality and thus the quality of life of all the inhabitants of the pre-mentioned municipalities.
