Wememe app - daily screen full of "we"
Although in our time the emphasis seems to be on individuality, artists are very curious about "we". When does a "we" arise and what forms are there? When is a "we" essential and indispensable or when is there an "we" absent?

The Wememe app offers a daily screen full of "we" in the form of short columns, photos and artworks.

our ideal we
"We are" is also an ideal, something to pursue and practice. Something that keeps us busy all the time and can be a source of joy or deep annoyance. In your daily living environment: your neighborhood, school, cafes or cultural places, we meet you everywhere. What relationship do all these "us's" have with your own life? We> me.me is a way to get to know this topic and each other. Without a political or moral agenda, but based on interest and involvement.

Participate?
We cordially invite everyone to contribute a little. A contribution can consist of a column of 150 to 300 words. You can also submit a photo, drawing or artwork. The contributions are socratic, ie based on personal experience. Observations of moments when an we reveals itself to you.

We> Me.Me is part of Social Capital, a multi-year art program at various locations in Amsterdam where TAAK invites artists, partners and residents to respond with criticism and poetry to the changes in the city. Social Capital has been realized thanks to contributions from Mondriaan Fund, Amsterdam Fund for the Arts and Prince Bernhard Cultuurfonds Noord-Holland.
