The children's and youth brigades in the district Peine offer a great deal for young people aged 6 to 18 years. In the 49 youth fire brigades all municipalities currently nearly 700 youth members are active. For this purpose, some 300 children come from the 15 children brigades (Stand 31.12.2014). Nearly 400 volunteers take care of it, that the mostly weekly services are not boring and the young people learn the basic handles the fire department.
