The Wilhelm-Röntgen-Realschule lies in the cross area of the city of Dortmund. Currently about 500 students the school.

Career choice competence (eg competence check, work experience), natural science skills (eg cooperation with the KITZ.do, Schools Team, Water Seminar), language and reading skills (eg Dortmund Model, newspaper project, Mentoring reading in cooperation with the Johannes Wulff-school, out of town - and state library), learning skills (eg cooperative learning, promoting the methodological skills with school curriculum private), social skills (eg active SV-work; mediation), media skills (eg computer driving Licence, self learning center)
The Wilhelm-Röntgen-Realschule has always been a particularly active student council 8SV) that school life designed with many ideas and great commitment (for example, T-action, Nicholas action). In addition, there are student / -inside the WRR, offering the mediation for younger students / -Innen.
