The Wiesbaden section is e.V. the German Alpine Club with about 4,000 members, one of the biggest clubs in the region Wiesbaden. Our catchment area includes the Rheingau and Taunus to Lahn.
The Alpine Center of the Section Wiesbaden the German Alpine Club introduces itself
We offer our members a wide variety of activities ranging from guided tours and courses in high mountain climbing courses on up to hiking and mountain bike rides in the local district.
The various groups within the association have specialized in certain fields of activity. Our youth groups also at the younger age-appropriate activities.
Training of hikers, mountaineers, climbers and skiers is very important to us. We have an extensive team of instructors. We offer z. B. ski courses, alpine base courses, fixed rope courses and much more.
The Wiesbaden Section owns the Wiesbaden hut in the Silvretta and an outdoor climbing wall in Taunusstein-Hahn.
Our new Alpine Center in Wood Street 11a is located right next to the equally new climbing gym Wiesbaden. However, this climbing center is not owned by the DAV.
