The Young Firefighters (JF) Pankow was founded on 12 September 1992, 15 members. It is the young volunteer firefighters (FF) Berlin-Pankow and thus an important part of what makes the high percentage of former members JF significantly in the ranks of FF.
Our JF meets every Friday 17:00 to 19:00 here at the fire station. Here, the JF-members from 8-17 years to learn under the expert guidance firefighters specific things in theory and practice. The goal is to introduce especially younger members playfully to the work of the fire service, to inspire and contribute to fire protection.
Each FF represents a Jugendfeuerwehrwart (JFW), and are available which take the deputy optionally further supervisor training. In order for these caregivers allowed to train young people, they must have previously attended a training course for youth leaders, which is offered by the Berlin youth fire brigade. The Youth Officer Björn Heinz and his deputy Sabrina Kalowsky were appointed by members of the FF Pankow in their office.
