The Haiku project that lies dead - Interactive Story, is part of the academic activities hotbed of animation and interactivity of the Universidad Autonoma de Occidente in Cali-Colombia. The main purpose is to promote literary texts by renowned authors vallecaucanos through new digital formats and languages. This time creating a hypermedia based on the book "Haiku lying dead" * caleño author of Humberto Jarrin. This work presents the unexpected death and some of their feelings, hiding in small pieces a love story that the reader something dark will reveal through a particular interactive experience.
The project proposes a dialectic between literature and new forms of electronic expression, oriented multilinearity and the convergence of different expressive resources, from texts, sounds to static and moving images, thus, a new look is explored to traditional features of the printed book.
* The book "Haiku lying dead" deserved second place in the First World Haiku Award in the contest The 7th World Haiku Association Conference 2013.
