Ruca Huemul AR

Ruca-Huemul AR, is an Augmented Reality app from the NGO Aumen, which is part of the Conservation of Threatened Species initiative Ministry of the Environment, United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the GEF project on species conservation threatened. Its objective is to disseminate the importance of biodiversity and ecological processes, and its central theme is to bring the Biosphere Reserve "Nevados de Chillan Biological Corridor - Laguna del Laja" located in the Ñuble and Biobío regions.

Ruca-Huemul AR will allow viewing 4 conservation objects that reside in the Biosphere Reserve. Among them, the Huemul, the Nevados de Chillan Volcano, the ancestral activity of the veranadas and a Map of the Nevados de Chillan Biological Corridor - Laguna del Laja stand out.

To visualize, you should search the Ruca-Huemul trail for the black and white markers that work as a recognition pattern, these markers can also be used as educational material to increase learning, since it contains information that will allow you to know updated data of each conservation object, such as: general description of the conservation object, conservation actions and literature references.
