MyWords ESP - DE
Vocabulary trainer for German - Spanish (or Spanish - German)
Learn your own vocabulary.
Create different vocabulary books to keep track of things.
The learning mode trains with you, whereby the new or forgotten words are repeated more often.
You can study in the current booklet or start a sweep through all the selected vocabulary books in mix mode.
The voice output helps you with the correct pronunciation.
Typing is (almost) unnecessary.
Suitable for school or vacation, for lots of vocabulary and for quick learning success.
Step by step:
- Set MyWords to your language (top right DE <> ESP).
- Create a new vocabulary book.
- You can now add new words (pen), delete or change them (eraser) - by the way, all you have to do is type here.
You need at least 15 words to start the exercises.
- Under "Read" you will find a list of all words. You can hide the right column for practicing. In addition, the vocabulary can be shown and hidden individually. That helps with memorizing.
- With "Learn" you start the training. Pick the correct answer or use the question marks. The program remembers which vocabulary has to be repeated more often (like in a card index system). The wheel symbol above shows the learning strength of the respective vocabulary.
With the flag symbol you can decide whether the question should always be asked in Spanish or German or alternately.
If the loudspeaker is switched on, the vocabulary of the target language is read out loud (you need an internet connection to do this).
- Under "Big test" (almost) all vocabulary in a booklet is queried. You will not receive any feedback on correct and incorrect words, but MyWords will remember which vocabulary will have to be asked more often in the future. "Big test" is very well suited to quickly check the current status.
- With "Mix" you can choose different vocabulary books from which you want to learn.
Tips:
Learning vocabulary is not easy - but the more you learn, the better and easier you learn. Repeat the vocabulary out loud.
When you memorize, you not only save the vocabulary itself in your memory, but also the "way" to get there so that you can find the information again later. If you don't know the way anymore, you have the "it's on my tongue phenomenon" - you know you know the answer, but you can't find it at the moment. Mnemonic techniques come into play here: Basically, these techniques are all tools and tricks that one can come up with in order to find the way to stored information again. Think of a funny picture or story to go with a word - this will make it easier for you to learn it.
Repeat new vocabulary after about 20 to 30 minutes - so that you save them in your long-term memory.
