The Komikan Route is an intelligence game where you can put into practice your strategic skills to reach the goal.
Komikan is a traditional game that is present with different variations in different cultures of the world. Komikan is a word from Mapudungun (Mapuche language) that means "eat everything." The story that starts this game tells that the puma comes down from the mountain to attack the field that is cared for by the dogs. That is why the game presents us with a board with two spaces: a triangle that represents the mountain where the puma's burrow is and a square that represents the area of the dogs.
We call it The Komikan Route because it is an adventure that you must develop step by step to reach the goal. The idea of a route tells us that each step we take can lead us to the objective, in the same way that when we advance along a real route we reach the destination. In this case, the destination or goal is to reach and occupy the puma's burrow. When we occupy the burrow, the cougar is evicted and it means that you have defeated it. But beware! It is not so easy to achieve the goal, as the cougar can be very cunning and will try to eliminate your pieces. That is why you will have to learn to move forward with great attention and use your wits to defeat the cougar.
In The Komikan Route we propose four levels of difficulty, that way you can practice in the easy levels to defeat the puma as it becomes more intelligent. Learning the rules and playing the game is easy, but beating the cougar at the highest levels will be a challenge.
This game will help you train your strategic skills and decision making, being able to choose the best plays to reach your goal. By memorizing the moves and the positions of the pieces, you will be able to reach the goal in fewer movements. As you advance in the game and improve your results, you will discover in the Komikan a stimulating tool to exercise your skills and develop your ingenuity. * Graphics with captions that show you whose turn it is
* Graphic with menu to select the level of difficulty
* In each game, you can select the level of difficulty, that way you can regulate your progress until you are sure to change the level
* Intuitive interface
The rules of the game are:
* You play with the 12 dogs
* The program plays with the cougar
* You can advance one space per turn along the paths marked with the lines
* You cannot go back on the board
* The puma moves one space per turn along the paths marked with the lines
* Cougar can move in all directions
* You win when you manage to enter 6 dogs in the burrow or when you lock the cougar in the game square preventing its movement
* The cougar wins when he kills 7 dogs
