This is a basic app that allows you to create a wire of any shape in 3-D and simulate the magnetic field around it. It allows you to simulate the field on any of the three planes on the xyz axis and to simulate the magnetic field as the wire is moved around.
Similar to iron filings showing the shape of the field around a magnet, this app is best for visualizing the magnetic field around a wire of any shape, whether it's simple or complex.
