The Benaki Museum developed, with the support of friends and helpers who responded to the 2019 Fundraising Campaign, the augmented reality application "VENAKI 1821" for the exhibition "1821 Before and After", the largest exhibition ever organized by the Museum. With this application, the user has the ability to "chat" with more than 30 exhibits and see the exhibition with a different look. Through the screen of his device, the user will see paintings "come to life", will try on digital clothes and objects of heroes of the revolution and will discover up close details of exhibits, which he can not see otherwise.
