On December 20, 1945, God has set in motion a pilot, broadcasters and pastors that Alm. John Broger (pilot), Robert Bowman (radio announcer) and Ps. William J. Roberts (pastor) to start a radio ministry. The three men who share this vision to establish Radio International FEBC - Far East Broadcasting Company. FEBC thrive and be in a few countries in the world, including Indonesia. In Indonesia, FEBC known YASKI Foundation.
YASKI Foundation was founded on November 12, 1969, by Prof. Dr. J.E. Ismael, Alm. Rev. Basil Costerisan, Pdt. Dr. Jonah N.A. and Alm. Pdt. Dr. Ais Pormes. YASKI started preaching the gospel through Bible lessons written. Then through the first radio broadcasts transmitted by international transmitters in KFBS Saipan and Manila are now just focused on FEBC Manila as of 1 May 2011 and Iba, Guam per October 30, 2011, the radio broadcast throughout Indonesia.
To date, the Foundation YASKI own 5 local radio station (100.6 Heartline FM Karawaci, 94.4 Heartline FM Samarinda, 91.7 Heartline FM Lampung, 92.2 Heartline FM Bali, 95.9 Heartline Trumpets) and plans to expand FM stations and AM in Indonesia in order to expand YASKI ministry in preaching the good news.
