Project Background
AAAZ is a youth led nationwide membership non-profit-organization that seeks to promote meaningful youth participation in decision making spaces and local governance structures as a method to make youth representation significant in the developmental and democratic processes of Zambia.
We have a project titled “Enhancing youth and young women participation in decision making spaces using digital tools” with support from GIZ. We seek to conduct a digital survey to engage 100,000 participants by June 2021. The data gathered will be utilized to create user-friendly infographics, generate evidence-based advocacy messages. The intervention will be capacity building exercises of 60 identified benefactors in civic engagement and participation in Copperbelt, Lusaka and Southern Provinces.
Project Objectives
- Increase information availability and accessibility by youth and young women on participation in local governance structures by May 2021.
- Increase the capacity of 60 identified youth and young women in civic engagement and participation using digital tool by May 2021.
- Facilitate 3 interactive engagements between youth and young women and their duty bearers using digital platforms by June 2021.
