BACKGROUND
New administrative units like districts, tehsils and blocks are notified by government and consequently new lists are available on government websites. However, the lists are not accompanied by maps showing locations of the new administrative units.
THE PROBLEM
For planning and operational purposes, and defining areas of responsibility, information is required on where this new administrative unit is, and what its extent is. This data adds greatly to the usefulness of the most recent administrative units list.
