He wrote about Wahhabism and criticized some aspects of the school.
He was born in Mecca in 1231 AH (1816 AD), where he grew up and was raised. The Dahlan family in Mecca was known for its virtuous morals, including humility, compassion, mercy, jihad, struggle, loyalty, and tolerance in dealings. They were known for their affection and good reputation.
