Dobrna is the place of the oldest Slovene health resort, which is connected with the center by the mighty chestnut alley, with the energy park, the green nature and its sights, and in the surroundings, the pleasant walking, cycling and learning forest paths.
In the 1900’s, the Health Resort had a considerable reputation, and important people came to visit, among them was the German writer Karl May in 1907.
