About MSCopilot, Gérez votre SEP

MSCopilot® is a medical device for patients with MS. This mobile application allows you to self-assess yourself at home between each consultation. MSCopilot® adapts to smartphones the standard tests that your neurologist uses to assess the progression of your MS. Now you can do them at home whenever it suits you, at regular intervals and several times a year.
By using the application, you become an actor in the management of your MS and can more easily discuss your symptoms with your neurologist.

MSCopilot® allows you to perform the following tests:
1. Walk test:
Measurement of walking perimeter and other parameters
Every month

2. Dexterity test:
Measurement of fine motor skills (right hand, left hand) by drawing lines on the screen
Every month

3. Cognition test:
Measurement of attentional abilities and processing speed by matching symbols to numbers
Every 3 months

4. Low contrast vision test
Measurement of low-contrast visual acuity by reading numbers of decreasing size
Every 3 months

The scientific committee is made up of: Hélène BRISSART (Nancy University Hospital), Dr Mikael COHEN (Nice University Hospital), Pr Jérôme DE SÈZE (Strasbourg University Hospital (Hautepierre), Dr Cécile DONZÉ (St Philibert Hospital, Lomme), Pr Pierre LABAUGE (Montpellier University Hospital), Dr Yann le Coz (Paris), Dr Adil MAAROUF (Marseille University Hospital), Dr Élisabeth MAILLART (La Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital, Paris), Dr Claude MEKIES (Polyclinique du Parc, Toulouse), Pr Thibault MOREAU (CHU of Dijon), Pr Ayman TOURBAH (CHU of Reims) and Dr Catherine VIGNAL-CLERMONT (Rothschild Foundation, Paris).

The partner patient associations are AFSEP, APF, ARSEP, the French League against Multiple Sclerosis, UNISEP and ALSACEP.
MSCopilot® was developed in collaboration with doctors and patients.
Its manufacturer Ad Scientiam develops chronic disease self-assessment solutions on smartphones. These applications are developed in collaboration with doctors, researchers and patients.

Note: When you perform the walk test and in order to make it usable with the locked screen, the GPS runs in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background may decrease battery life.
