ArtroChallenge is a contest that aims to promote the transmission of scientific-veterinary knowledge about feline and canine osteoarthritis (OA) through participation in two independent categories:
- Diagnostic-therapeutic challenge: a challenge will be published weekly with the resolution of a diagnosis and a treatment based on the clinical history and images of clinical cases related to degenerative joint processes (osteoarthritis) in dogs and cats, prepared by the experts from the Scientific Committee. Participants will be able to win this category and qualify in the ArtroChallenge ranking, accumulating points if they manage to answer the different challenges correctly (up to 100 points per challenge).
- Librela and Solensia clinical cases: Clinical cases must be loaded following a simple template. Participants will be able to win this category and qualify in the ArtroChallenge ranking, accumulating points through the votes obtained by users who recognize the excellence of their cases. You also have the option of uploading explanatory videos about the pre and post treatment status of your patient.
It also has a FORUM where, every Thursday, the member of the scientific committee who has published their weekly ArtroChallenge Challenge will answer questions about the related clinical case, publish details about the case management and the reason for the response.
The Scientific Committee is made up of: Marisa Palmero, Ignacio Calvo and Francisco Aranda.
Each category will have 2 winners and the prizes will be:
For the 1st place in each category: up to €3,000 for training during 2023 and 2024 in congresses, courses or master's degrees related to veterinary medicine to be chosen by the winner.
For the 2nd place in each category: up to €1,000 for training during 2023 and 2024 in congresses, courses or master's degrees related to veterinary medicine to be chosen by the winner
