TürKomp National Food Composition Database is the main output of the R&D project with the name “Determining the National Food Composition and Establishing a Widespread Continuous Sharing System” and “107G208” supported by TÜBİTAK, KAMAG TARAL 1007 Program between 2008-2013. The project is based on the principle of determining the nutritional composition of processed and unprocessed agricultural products produced and consumed in our country's geography with advanced laboratory analysis techniques and establishing a unique and sustainable national system that includes completely traceable data production, use and management. A company membership system has been established in order to support the sustainability of TürKomp, which provides access to reliable data produced at national level and international standards. Data users have identified in the system; Valuable feedback, including problems, opinions and suggestions, is considered an important resource that can be used to improve our national system, which has just been laid.
