The application DASIHÂZEKMÃ DAKRÊWAIHKU - O JOGO, is a pedagogical feature software in indigenous Akwẽ language and in Portuguese, helping children and young people to read and write in both languages.
Fully developed with the participation of the Xerente community in the state of Tocantins, the game has all the indigenous cultural characteristics of its people, such as colors, songs and illustrations. The application was born from a master's thesis project of a student at the Federal University of Tocantins-UFT and had the support of FUNAI and of course, with the authorization of the chief and all members of the community.
The game initially consists of a player registration stage, then it will be divided into stages called challenges, each challenge will present the player with phrases or illustrations where he must read and relate the word in Akwẽ to its translation into Portuguese or vice versa. back The other challenges also reserve other pedagogical activities in order to increase the interaction of students in the literacy phase, bringing them, in an interactive and innovative way, the possibility of becoming literate using influences from their own cultures on the cell phone or computer screen.
