The Abbasid state, the Abbasid caliphate, or the state of the Abbasids is the name given to the third Islamic caliphate in history, and the second Islamic ruling dynasties.
The Abbasids were able to displace the Umayyads from their path and seek the exclusivity of the caliphate, and they eliminated that ruling dynasty and chased its sons until they eliminated most of them, and only those who sought refuge in Andalusia escaped, and among them was Abd al-Rahman bin Muawiya bin Hisham bin Abd al-Malik bin Marawan bin al-Hakam. On the Iberian Peninsula, and remained in its heights for the year 1029AD
