And diligence in it with acts of worship and obedience that brings the servant closer to his Lord, including fasting, which is one of the best acts of worship that brings the servant closer to his Lord, just as fasting on the Day of Arafa expiates the sins of the servant for two years. He said: It expiates the previous year and the coming year.
