The Borgo della Marinella was born as a village of peasant houses, arranged exactly as they are found today, with the farmyard in the center for poultry animals and the fountain for supplying water to the animals.
Inhabited up to 30 years ago by settler families who cultivated the neighboring lands, the ancient walls have seen entire generations of rural families follow one another in the ancient work of the fields.
It is in respect of this ancient tradition and of the memory of the times and of the people who imbue the walls, that the restructuring of the village was born.
