INSIGHT BONE - The expedition into the human skeleton
Making the bones strong and moving the disease osteoporosis from the shadows into the light - that is the declared aim of the BONE.STARK.MACHER campaign. of the osteoporosis alliance. Because with an estimated 6.3 million people affected in Germany - mainly women, but also men - osteoporosis is a widespread disease. Every year there are 885,000 new cases in this country. However, only every fifth person affected is treated appropriately.
The augmented reality app INSIGHT BONE shows what is normally hidden: our skeleton and our bones. Visually impressive and scientifically founded, the structures in the body affected by osteoporosis come into the light.
With the use of ARCore, you can easily capture your surroundings with the camera and place the three-dimensional skeleton.
Rotate and scale the high-resolution skeleton and enjoy the highly detailed textures.
Have you ever wondered what your bones do day in and day out and how ingeniously they work? The INSIGHT BONE app shows you:
The animations show how osteoporosis changes our skeleton and bones. This raises many questions: what is osteoporosis, how does it develop and how is it diagnosed? How can I prevent bone loss, how does it show up in everyday life? How are those affected cared for?
INSIGHT BONE provides answers to these questions and provides fascinating insights into the natural and disease-related processes in bones.
And there will be more functions and content! This and the following apps from the INSIGHT series will revolutionize medical education and training.
