Ar - Alternativa Rádio is a communication project of the Barreiro Municipality Association (ACCB), a decentralized structure of the Portuguese Confederation of Culture, Recreation and Sports (CPCCRD). Ar - Alternativa Rádio, as a means of social communication, has as main objective the dissemination and promotion of the events and projects of the Communities, Associations and Clubs, inserted in the universe of the Portuguese Social Economy. Ar - Alternativa Rádio produces content and services at local, regional and national level, based on the creativity and uniqueness of the inspiring experiences that the popular associative movement (MAP) and the Social Economy have been introducing in Portugal. Ar - Alternativa Rádio is an independent body, with voluntary and non-profit purposes, as well as the Barreiro Municipality Association (ACCB).
