Project Conservation and Organic Farming Interventions (COFARMIN) facilitates creation of women oriented cooperative farming enterprises engaged in high turnover, high profit and zero risk farming, along with the principles of conservation and organic agriculture. Thus, ensuring reduced agriculture emissions, enhanced per hectare farm profits, financial and social empowerment of women and local area economic development.
Under COFARMIN carefully selected Indigenous & Traditional Knowledge (ITK) practices are combined with uses of advanced organic agriculture inputs and crops are managed along the lines of System of Crop Intensification (SCI) & Conservation Agriculture (CA). Further the organic product is facilitated with internationally respected organic and safety certifications for it to become part of global organic food supply chain
