Simple My Driving

According to statistics (see links below), drivers who use their cellphone while driving are 4x more likely to be involved in an accident. From a different report, in 2020, speeding was a contributing factor in 29% of all traffic fatalities. All these factors combined, obviously, safety driving is most important.

This app is designed to track your driving habits in mind. It tracks following 4 categories:-
a) Speeding - gets your current driving speed from your device's GPS and compare with speed limit where you are driving in realtime
b) Phone usage - uses Google's AI technology to monitor through front-facing camera if someone is looking at the device while driving
c) Calling - monitors if someone take/make a phone call (include IP calls like Whatsapp call etc.) without using hands-free or bluetooth/wireless headset
d) Braking - again from device's GPS to determine if you are braking too hard. It may not be bad, but if it becomes a pattern means you follow car in front too close

The following permissions are required to install this app:-
Device's location - needs GPS to keep track of your location
Picture and record video - needs camera to check if you are looking at screen while driving

Please note, all data collected during a trip will ONLY save/stay in your device and WILL NOT upload or shared. The data usage of this app is around 0.7M per 1 hour's driving.
